Level Description
Embark on a harrowing journey through the Abyssal Caverns, a subterranean labyrinth haunted by lost souls and enigmatic puzzles. Face the Soulstalker's Den, navigate throughout the level, and unveil the secrets hidden within the Abyssal Nexus. Cross the treacherous bridge, solve the puzzles, and reach the heart of the labyrinth in the Cavern's Challenge. Only by placing the collected items on the pedestal in the Labyrinth of Whispers can you escape the clutches of the pursuing monster.

Design Goals and Inspiration
Inspired by the haunting beauty of caverns and the challenge of crafting immersive puzzle experiences, Abyssal Caverns seeks to blend atmospheric horror with cerebral gameplay. Influenced by the mysterious allure of ancient labyrinths, the design aims to create a chilling and enigmatic environment. The goal is to evoke a sense of fear and fascination as players navigate the darkness, solve intricate puzzles, and unravel the story of the lost souls within.

Challenges and Lessons Learned
Over the course of creating this game, I have faced many challenges and learned a lot more. Creating the intricate puzzles posed a significant challenge, requiring meticulous planning to ensure they were challenging yet solvable. Overcoming this involved continuous playtesting and adjustments to maintain the delicate balance between difficulty and player engagement. Additionally, designing unique sections like the side rooms and the central room demanded creativity to ensure each area felt distinct and contributed to the overall atmosphere.
